深刻な危機にある日本の産婦人科の現状をテーマに、過酷な状況下で奮闘する産科医の姿を描いている。
原作は岡井崇の小説『ノーフォールト』。このドラマでは、原作者であり現役産婦人科医でもある岡井、及び所属する昭和大学病院の産婦人科医有志が手術シーンの医事指導を担当している。
Nachi Hiiragi (Norika Fujiwara) works in the Obstetrics & Gynecology department of a university hospital. Although Nachi works diligently to save patients, she is unusually reserved due to a traumatic accident from her past. "Gyne" follows her career as a C-section surgeon at the hospital and emphasizes the shortage of doctors in the field due to long working hours and the fear of litigation.
